Hungarian chocolate... Bonbonetti

One of the most elegant streets in Budapest is, no doubt, Andrassy street.

There, you can find a company store of BONBONETTI, a Hungarian chocolate company.

nice looking store !

According to their official website, Bonbonetti was established by a German confectioner in Hungary in 1868.

Now it is owned by one of the largest world manufacturer, Roshen, but it was 100% Hungarian brand by 1992, and they still keep producing many brands, like Tibi chocolate, one of the most known chocolates in Hungary.

This weekend, there was beer festival on Andrassy street.
My husband & I went there for some beers, and visited their shop, too.

inside of the shop

And our choices were these products.

Wafer rolls filled with Hazelnut cream

I like chocolates, but don't eat much of them.
When I was a child, my parents didn't let me have chocolates and cola, as their policy, so in Japan, I never bought chocolates for myself.

Now, my eating habits are more European, and I like chocolates.
It is nice to have some of them sometimes. (not always, because I don't want to get fat.)

The stick was smaller than I thought, but tasted great !

I prefer this product, because it was light, and not too sweet.

My husband prefers the another one. He is real lover of chocolates.

I don't say that Bonbonetti is the best chocolates manufacturer in Hungary. There are some other good manufacturers, too, but I like this company shop, and I want to enjoy some other products, too.

Hungarian skin-care product... Helia-D

Like any other Japanese women abroad, I always found it hard to find the right skin-care products for myself in other countries.

When I was in Australia very long time ago, THE BODY SHOP was only one product which I could use without any problem.

Now you can find THE BODY SHOP in Budapest, too, but when I came to Hungary, they didn't exist here, so every time I visited Vienna or any other cities in Western Europe, I always had to go to the shop there to buy.

As the saying goes, "The darkest place is under the candlestick."

In Hungary, there are some skin-care product companies with old tradition, but I must admit that I was not very interested in them and didn't even try because of my prejudice again Hungarian products.

I was wrong.

I have a lot of problem with my skin. Sometimes I have to go to doctor, too.
My skin is so dry, but gets pimple easily, if the product is not for me.

And at last, I found a perfect facial toner and cleansing milk for myself.

It's called HELIA-D.  Yes, it is a Hungarian brand.

The right one is a toner, and the left one is cleansing milk.

I have tried their face cream, too, but I had to stop using it because it was too oily and I got some pimples.
But these 2 products are perfect ones.

The toner contains a little alcohol, which I need. It cleans my skin to protect from pimples.

The cleansing milk is for dry skin and removes my make-up perfectly. It also gives good hydration, and doesn't make my skin dry.

There is only one thing, which I don't like... the container.

This container is not suitable for lotion.
It doesn't come out properly, and always spills some, so I always refill to another bottle before use.

If Helia-D is a company who tries to improve their products for consumers, they should change this container as soon as possible. I hope they will.

There is another good product from them.

body lotion

I also needed a good body lotion.
Most of body lotions for dry skins were too sticky, but this one was not, and not expensive.

Again there was only one problem.
My skin didn't absorb it quickly, and I had to pass my hands for a long time.

Because of this, I am using another body lotion now.
(I am going to write about it in my next posts.)

But still, I can say that this product is also good.

I often see tourists from other countries looking for Helia-D products at shops.
I have no idea how famous it can be there, but yes, it is good Hungarian product, and worth to try.

My favorite bag shop... Holmi Cipő és Bőrdíszmű

This is my first post in my blog.
I know my English is still poor, but I would like to make this blog in English for my practice.

So , here is my first items in my blog.
I bought them last Friday in my favorite shop... Holmi Cipő és Bőrdíszmű.

They were on sale, 70% OFF !!(*≧∀≦*)

The right one costed about 9 euro, and the left one was about 4 euro.

They are vinyl bags.
I never bought vinyl bags in Japan, because I believed like, working women shouldn't have such cheap looking items, but here in Hungary, I just don't care.
Hungarian fashion already look cheap enough, and nobody cares. (;^ω^)

But to be honest, I don't feel they are cheap looking.
I love the design... even if they had costed double or even triple, I would still have purchased them !
I am really really happy with this purchase !

Actually, I can say that I am a big fan of this shop, Holmi Cipő és Bőrdíszmű.
They have lots of shops in Budapest, and I have bought more than 6 bags from them.

They also sell shoes, but my main target is always bag.
Yes, I love bags, and I often check this shop.

Here is another photo of my bags from the shop.

The right one is pretty old... I bought the left one last year.

They are also vinyls, but I really don't feel that I need genuine leather bags here in Budapest.
 (;^ω^)

If you love bags, this shop is worth to visit sometimes.
They have genuine leather products, too.

This shop is not where I purchased this time though.
